Is the hotel easily accessible with a wheelchair?
There are stairs leading to our entrance from Sauchiehall Street, but we do have elevator access in the building to all floors as well as stairs.

Advance Purchase Rates are available up to 7 days before the date of arrival and are fully prepaid at time of Booking. Advance Purchase Rates are non-refundable and non-transferable.

To provide you with best available price on any given day of the year, we operate a sophisticated price management system, which enables us to guarantee you the best quote for the duration of your stay at the time of your enquiry. Our Best Available Rates allow you to alter or cancel your booking up until 12 noon, two days prior to your arrival without charge. Cancellations made after 12 noon, two days prior to your arrival will be charged for the first night’s stay only.

How do I make changes or cancel my reservations?
Advance Purchase Rates are non-refundable and non-transferable and full pre-payment will be taken in the event of your cancellation.
Best Available Rates may be cancelled up until 48 hours prior to arrival without charge, after which a charge for the first night’s accommodation shall be payable. Promotional rates may only be cancelled in accordance with the specific terms applying to that rate which will be advised at the time of your booking.
A cancellation number must be obtained to ensure that minimum charges are levied.
Whilst every effort is made to carry out any particular requests which you may make in relation to your stay with us, please be aware that these requests may not always be possible, and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet any particular requests. Your booking is for a class of room in the Hotel and does not guarantee that you will be able to stay in a specific room, but we will do or best to meet your expectations and requests if you have any. If for any reason we require to move you to another room during your stay, for which a lower rate is available than the rate you booked at, we will refund you the difference in the rates. This would only be the case where we need to do this in the event of an emergency and you are unable to stay in your room.
In the unlikely event that we must change or cancel your reservation you will be given a full refund, but we shall have no further liability to you resulting out of such cancellation.

The Devoncove Hotel has car parking to the rear of the hotel which is available to guests. Please contact reception for current overnight pricing. Spaces in the car park cannot be reserved in advance. If you are unable to obtain a space in the car park, there is off street parking outside and around the hotel. The Hotel’s car park spaces are on a first arrive basis and you must register your vehicle at reception on check in. The hotel is not liable for the protection or safety of vehicles parked in the car park or any goods left inside vehicles. The use of the car park is solely at the guest’s own risk. The hotel accepts no responsibility for damages or losses to vehicles parked in the car park. Please note that some surrounding on-street parking is free in a parking bay at the weekends.

You can check in from 3pm. If you arrive earlier, you can store your baggage in the hotel's baggage area for free until your room is available. If the room has already been serviced and is available before 3pm, you may have access to the room earlier. Please note that there is an additional fee of £20 for an early check-in. However, we offer a complimentary early check in subject to availability if you booked your stay directly on our website" devoncovehotel.com."

Check-out is at 11am on your day of departure. If you wish to check out later than 11am, please contact reception. Please note that there is an additional charge for late check-out. Late check outs are limited, must be pre-arranged with reception, will be charged at a rate of £10 per hour and the latest possible check out will be 1pm.

An individual who negligently or intentionally causes damage to the hotel or any furniture or furnishings within the hotel, shall be fully liable for damages sustained by the hotel, including the hotel's loss of income resulting from the inability to sell a room while the damage is being repaired. The hotel reserves the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, the hotel reserves the right to make a charge to the guest credit/debit card.

Guests are asked to conduct themselves appropriately at all times Guests are asked not to disturb the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the well-ordered running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or ask you to leave the premises if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider that you or any member of your party has behaved inappropriately. Where this is the case, we shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.

The hotel operates as a licensed premise for the sale of alcohol. We ask all our guests to adhere to our rules and policy for the sale of alcohol, regulated under the Licensing Act (Scotland) 2005.

The hotel does not accept any liability whatsoever for loss or damage to any guest property. All rooms are equipped with in-room safes, and our reception offers a safety deposit box facility. If any guest’s personal belongings are lost whilst staying at hotel, if recovered, the item will be recorded as 'found'. Any items in the lost and found which are not claimed within 30 days will be donated to a local charity or discarded.

Upon arrival please head to our friendly reception desk where one of our receptionists will be happy to check you into your room and answer any questions you may have. At the time of making your booking we will ask you for a credit or debit card to enable us to do a pre-authorisation of the card. We will ask to see this same card upon arrival so please make sure you bring the card that you made your booking with. If someone else has made your booking we will need confirmation of this. When you check out of the hotel we will complete the sale on the same card that you provided to us when booking which we will have pre-authorised before your arrival. If the credit or debit card used to make your booking fails to pre auth for the value of your stay, we will contact you for another card. If we are unable to secure a pre-authorisation on a valid credit or debit card within three days of your arrival date the hotel reserves the right to cancel your booking and resell the room. All residents must be 21 years or older. Any younger guests must be accompanied by an adult (person 21 years or older).

We’re not far at all from the city centre and are based within the heart of the vibrant West End. The SSE Hydro, SEC and bars and restaurants of Finnieston are just the street behind the Hotel. Close enough to jump out for a spot of dinner or drinks, but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle.

Small and well-behaved Dogs are allowed in the hotel at a fee of £15 per dog, per stay provided we have been made aware in advance. Dogs must be supervised at all times by their owner. A charge or £50 will be applied to the guest account if it is discovered that a dog has been left unsupervised or if a dog creates a disturbance to other hotel residents. In addition, any damages caused by dogs will be charged to the guest account. The hotel reserves the right to refuse admission if a dog is considered not suitable to be in the hotel. No dogs are permitted in the dining room.

Our official website is the only booking platform where best rates are guaranteed. Should you find that your preferred dates are not available through our online system, please phone the hotel to access real-time availability. You can pay a deposit for your room should you wish to, but it is not essential to secure a booking. We accept cash in sterling (GBP) and all major debit and credit cards. We do not accept cheques.

We have a zero-tolerance smoking policy on the hotel. Should you wish to smoke you are kindly asked to use the outdoor smoking terraces of the hotel. There is a £150 charge for any guest failing to comply with our policy.
